Fathers Day 2011 witnessed one of the great events on the motor racing calendar in Australia. Sunday September 4, 2011, Eastern Creek Raceway Sydney. After suffering mechanical issues on practice and qualifying days, Brett and his team found the issue but were forced to start from the rear of the grid. However after some great driving the GTS Monaro managed to finish in 8th place for the day. A great result for the first race back in the series and also with the limited practice due to the mechanical problem. Brett featured on the podium however receiving the "Charger of the Round" award for the great drive to finish last to 8th place. The next race in the calendar is Bathurst and I know Brett is looking forward to that challenge. Good luck from the team at Mothers Polish.
